My journey with Selden began in July 2007 when I joined the Junior program, and I became a member of the department in June 2010. What inspired me to join was my family, specifically my grandparents, and the opportunity to continue my grandfather’s legacy. On Thursday, May 28, at approximately 10:55 p.m., the Selden Fire Department was activated for a Signal 13 (Structure Fire) at 69 College Road. Initial reports indicated that one occupant was trapped inside the residence.
