This past week, members of the Selden Fire Department proudly visited local elementary schools, including Bicycle Path, Hawkins Path, Stagecoach, and New Lane. Our firefighters spent time with students teaching the importance of fire safety and prevention through interactive lessons and demonstrations. These visits are a vital part of our mission to keep our community safe by educating our youngest residents on how to prevent fires and what to do in case of an emergency.

As part of Fire Prevention Week, we are excited to invite the community to our Annual Open House on:

This family-friendly event will feature fire safety demonstrations, opportunities to meet your local firefighters, and fun educational activities for children. It is a great chance for residents of all ages to learn more about fire prevention and the life-saving work we do every day.
