On Friday November 28, 2025, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived with a Fire Department escort to Selden Fire Department H.Q. to light the Selden Community's Christmas Tree. Together Santa and Mrs. Claus lit up the Christmas Tree from count down of the large crowd that waited for them to kick-off the 2025 Holiday Season.

Residents had the opportunity to take photos with Santa while enjoying some toasty refreshments served by the members of the Selden Fire Department and the Selden Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
