| This morning, members of the Selden Fire Department proudly represented our community at Mather Hospital’s Escape Bus Challenge, competing against EMS providers from across the region in a fast-paced, scenario-based competition.
EMS Members Olivia Fasano, Amir Alexander, Layelle Khatoun, and Sena Akkaya put their emergency medical training to the test in an escape room-style scenario designed to challenge clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork under pressure.
Through dedication, preparation, and countless hours spent refining their skills, our members rose to the top, completing the challenge with an incredible 1 minute and 16 seconds to spare, earning the fastest time of the day and securing 1st place overall.
Events like this highlight the importance of continuous training and collaboration, ensuring our members are always ready to provide the highest level of care to those we serve.
