Selden Fire District

 

 

The Selden Fire District is an area of approximately 7.4 square miles and encompasses the hamlets of Selden, parts of Centereach, Coram, and Port Jefferson Station. The District also provides Fire Rescue and Emergency Services to the Suffolk County Community College Ammerman Campus.

Mission

  Our mission is to serve and protect the life, property, and environment of the Selden Fire District, in a timely, professional manner while working to reduce injury, loss of life, and property in an emergency. Through education and positive reinforcement, we are a community of neighbors helping neighbors, striving to provide highly trained and qualified volunteers to perform these duties.
