The Selden Junior Slowpokes Drill Team, established in the early 90’s, is the first opportunity for young children to learn the basic skills of firefighting. We do everything from hose handling to climbing ladders and use of fire hydrants. The children have fun, develop teamwork skills and make new friends. Our season runs from mid April through the end of July. We have weekly practices on Wednesday nights from 5pm to 8pm and then tournaments on Sundays in June and July.
