Selden Fire Department Celebrates 75 Years of Public Service
By Selden FD
July 22, 2007
Selden, NY--The Selden Fire Department celebrated it's 75th year of Public Service in July by hosting the NY State Firemen's Parade and Carnival. Residents of Selden lined Middle Country Rd. as firefighters from near and far took part in the state's largest parade of the year. Chief John Bartnik led the parade followed by Assistant Chiefs John Cronin, Tony Ryan and Joe Leavens.
A special thanks to all the residents of Selden and Merchants along the Parade Route that joined the department in celebrating such an important milestone in our history.
