Welcome 2026: A Message from the Selden Fire Department

By Selden FD
January 1, 2026

As we welcome the New Year, the Selden Fire Department would like to extend our warmest wishes for a safe, healthy, and prosperous 2026 to all of our residents, families, and neighbors.

The past year once again demonstrated the strength of our community and the dedication of the Chiefs, Officers, and members who proudly serve the Selden community. Throughout 2025, our volunteers responded to over 4,800 fire and EMS alarms, trained extensively, supported community events, and stood ready at all hours to protect lives and property. This level of service would not be possible without the continued support of our residents, local organizations, and elected officials.

As we begin 2026, the Selden Fire Department remains focused on preparedness, training, and service. Our mission remains unchanged, to serve with professionalism, integrity, and pride.

We also encourage anyone interested in giving back to consider volunteering with the Selden Fire Department. Becoming a volunteer firefighter or EMS member is a meaningful way to serve your community while gaining valuable skills and lifelong friendships.

On behalf of the Chiefs, Officers, and members of the Selden Fire Department, thank you for your trust and support. We wish you and your families a happy, healthy, and safe New Year.

Stay safe,
Selden Fire Department
