Firefighters Extinguish Car in Driveway of House
By Selden FD
October 7, 2007
Firefighters responded to a call for a car on fire in a driveway on Hemlock St. near Boyle Rd late Sunday night. Upon arrival Chief Cronin told incoming units he had a fully involved car parked between 2 others in the driveway. First on scene was an engine out of Station 1 and they quickly knocked down the fire as units from Headquarters arrived on scene to assist. Although the car was completely destroyed, the fast response of firefighters saved both cars near the burning vehicle.
