JUNIOR COMPANY HOLDS ROPE RESCUE DRILL
By Selden FD
November 8, 2007
While most kids end thier day after finishing their homework, the teen members of Selden FD's Junior Company are out training to be firefighters. This month they were at the training center under the eye of trainers Mike Napolitano and John Matthews conducting rope slides out of the 2nd story of the building.
This type of training is necessary in very advanced technical rescue situations that could involved being lowered to a patient that is in need of removal.
